이기종 시스템에 대하여

### 이기종 시스템의 정의

이기종 시스템은 단순히 분산 환경, 여러 WAS의 운용 등의 “상이” 개념이 아니다. Tomcat/WebLogic 등의 WAS, 혹은 Java/Spring 및 NodeJs 등 WAS 종류 및 플랫폼 자체가 다른, 본질적으로 환경 및 시스템 운영 환경이 다른 경우를 일컫는다. 

동일한 Tomcat에서 서로 다른 Port 기반의 Application 운용은 동종 환경이라 간주하고, 다른 프로세스를 다른 배포 환경에서 실행한다 하더라도 Tomcat 등 WAS가 동일하다면 이 역시 동종환경이라 간주한다. 다만, 동일한 WAS 환경이라고 하더라도 gRPC 및 HTTP 통신으로 이루어지는 다른 도메인 시스템이라면 이기종 환경이라 보기도 한다.
